IAPOMS: THE COOLEST THING EVER EDITION

The COOLEST thing happened while I was in Utah... well, other than seeing a brand new baby and my best friend ever and an actual Fall season... I got to meet Jenn (or Jennifer I guess, but I call her Jenn 'cause we're tight like that) from Grimmricksen which was pretty much the greatest thing ever.  My first ever blogger friend turned real life friend, and we got to share just enough time together (1 hour exactly) for me too thoroughly freak her out. I'm just a huggy person. Can't help it.

I really love meeting new people... I kind of revel in the initial awkwardness of the meetings:) Jennifer was such a babe, and I was so glad to have met her. She is not only astoundingly gorgeous, but also a feminist craftster, goofy mama, (good) book lover, and she is incredibly down to earth. I have a lot to look up to here. And, when I visit Utah again, she'll be the first one I call. That way we can spend MORE than an hour... y'know like an afternoon with coffee, and finger paints, and if we're feeling REALLY adventurous we can bake a german chocolate cake.

P.S. She also has a "wanderlust" tattoo that I secretly covet. Only now, its no longer a secret.

I'm finding it harder and harder to take myself seriously enough to snap an attractive picture of myself, so you'll just have to make due with these. I wonder why that is? I used to be a self timer professional.

Oh yeah, and he'res the proof we're now real time bffs... this is really the best one we took. Amazing huh?

Have you ever met anyone from Bloggerland? How did it go?

But her kiddo! He looks about my son's age! I'd sure love to have an awesome Star Wars jacket for him! Oh. My. Gah. By the time I'd make one, he'd have outgrown the damn thing five-fold, haha. :)

  8. The first time I met a blogger I followed I felt a little stocker-ish telling them. Now that I've met a few and been told by others that they follow my blog it’s not so awkward. It’s fun finding new friends and building that blogger community!
