The COOLEST thing happened while I was in Utah... well, other than seeing a brand new baby and my best friend ever and an actual Fall season... I got to meet Jenn (or Jennifer I guess, but I call her Jenn 'cause we're tight like that) from Grimmricksen which was pretty much the greatest thing ever. My first ever blogger friend turned real life friend, and we got to share just enough time together (1 hour exactly) for me too thoroughly freak her out. I'm just a huggy person. Can't help it.
P.S. She also has a "wanderlust" tattoo that I secretly covet. Only now, its no longer a secret.
I'm finding it harder and harder to take myself seriously enough to snap an attractive picture of myself, so you'll just have to make due with these. I wonder why that is? I used to be a self timer professional.
Oh yeah, and he'res the proof we're now real time bffs... this is really the best one we took. Amazing huh?
Have you ever met anyone from Bloggerland? How did it go?
Hola Jes!
ReplyDeleteAwesome post! So loving and tender. You are lucky to have a BFF! I LOVE the pics! :)

I wish I could meet some of my blogger friends. I've met some of the most amazing women and I wish they could live down the street from me!
ReplyDeleteI KNOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOWWWWWW! I kinda get jealous when people live semi close... like in the same state. I only know of one large blogger in AZ:( I need to recruit!
DeleteNew to the blogging thing so haven't met anyone else yet, however I am already friends with a few ladies who started blogs. Btw LOVE your teal dress! That fabric looks divine and so comfy, plus you look great obviously.

I think you look gorgeous in these photos, taking yourself seriously or not!
ReplyDeleteI'd love to meet some bloggers but I'm so, so socially awkward!

Guh. I'm going to come visit you and cure you of that! Well, maybe... or else we can just be awkward together!
DeleteI so want to meet my blogger friends...ASAP!
ReplyDeleteJessie from YGL lives in my town but we keep missing each other. Darn it.
And I'd love to meet Jenn and talk books. You two were so lucky to share some time together!
Right? I wish we had a teleportation device...
DeleteHow fun! You both look awesome! :)
ReplyDeleteBut her kiddo! He looks about my son's age! I'd sure love to have an awesome Star Wars jacket for him! Oh. My. Gah. By the time I'd make one, he'd have outgrown the damn thing five-fold, haha. :)
He was a gorgeous 2 year old. AND equally rad as he was cute:)
DeleteYay! I had so much fun, even if it was only for an hour. Now you just have another reason to come back and visit Utah :)
ReplyDeleteYou will definitely be a highlight!
DeleteThe first time I met a blogger I followed I felt a little stocker-ish telling them. Now that I've met a few and been told by others that they follow my blog it’s not so awkward. It’s fun finding new friends and building that blogger community!
ReplyDeleteIsn't it sooooo neat to find articulate wonderful creative women and then have them appear in real life! The internet is SO amazing.
Deleteyou are so cute! i LOVE that dress!
ReplyDeletei've met maybe five blog friends? and it was awesome every single time!
Do you know that you have the nicest smile? You are very very lovely and the every photo that you take of yourself is down-right attractive ;D
ReplyDeleteAnd one day, someday soon, I hope too meet all of my blogger friends!
