"This One Thing I Really Love About My Body" is a no nonsense challenge for all of us to put our self admiration into words when it comes to something we never allow ourselves to talk about... body pride. Its a difficult task that counters everything we've learned, but I'm offering you a chance to thwart self hate and submit what you love about you. It could be a body part, it could be a physical attribute, it could be a strength... anything that comes to mind.

My Eyes
ReplyDeleteWhat I love most about myself is my determination and my creativity!
ReplyDeleteI love my nose, it's adorable. I also love how adaptable I am. Most people get highly uncomfortable when situations or environments change. I usually do pretty damn well. I live in a busy city, but there are no bike lanes in my part of the city. I plan on moving downtown just so I can ride my bike everywhere I need to go. This will be a fun lifestyle change for me, so wish me luck please!
ReplyDeletemy face, my thirst for knowledge, and my all around awesomeness. And my bum!
ReplyDeleteMy eyes & my hands.
ReplyDeleteMy booty!
ReplyDeleteMy Booty!
ReplyDeleteI was going to say my legs, but then I started to think about how I have a lot of mosquito bites and cuts and scabs from working outside. And it made me think that maybe they aren't so good....then I started to think about how the point of your site is to celebrate what you have, so scars be damned, I say legs!
ReplyDeleteMy boobs and my eyes.
ReplyDeleteMy tits. I love them so much! Especially when they're "too much to handle" as my friends say :)

ReplyDeleteI was thinking about this and started to look at myself... and even though I have been self conscious about a tinsy droop in one of my eyes since an accident happened my freshman year, I realized how beautiful they are. One of my favorite things about myself are my eyes:)
ReplyDeleteI am totally in love with my boobs. They're big, they're round, they're soft, they're not too saggy. They're just really fabulous!

My calves.
ReplyDeleteMy legs. They are big. One of them has an octopus tattoo and the other will have a squid. They are pretty badass at pedaling. I dig 'em.
