JULIA CHILD TURNS 100, SO I MADE A CAKE THAT I CAN'T PRONOUNCE

Today would be Julia Child's 100th birthday and every baker worth their salt on the interwebs joined in the celebration by baking a recipe of hers that was chosen by her publisher Knopf. I treasure this woman's legacy for so many reasons and so of course, I must bake in her honor. I teamed up with another pastry chef that I work with and we knocked out Julia's "Reine de Saba avec Glacage au Chocolate", er... The Queen of Sheba cake with chocolate icing. Its basically a folded almond and chocolate cake with butter chocolate on top. You can find the recipe a million places including here and you can look at the "JC 100" celebration here.

Happy Birthday Jukies. I love you dearly.
